slacker

Okay, so I am a huge slacker when it comes to this blogging thing! I have good intentions and then completely forget! I do have a few excuses though.....we have pretty much not had a free weekend for the last 2 months! Between bachelorette.bachelor parties, Emily's Wedding, Trey's brother's Wedding, Hilton Head, Vegas, Tunica, and Jackson.......it has been a crazy few months! But things are starting to calm down......for a little while anyway..... :). We (or me for the most part) are in full-fledged wedding planning mode! Less than 3 months until I am a Bellar, CRAZY! I will try and post some pics of hilton head and the other fun trips soon! :)

Check out our save-the-dates! How awesome did these turn out?! I cut the letters out of poster board and my good friend Jenny Crafton took the pictures in our kitchen (Trey was such a good sport....I think he actually had fun!)! I then passed them along to my dear friend Jessica who is the photoshop queen! She added the green (for our wedding colors (black, white, and green) and made them look like this!! I ordered black enevelopes that opened on the end rather than the top and addressed them with a silver sharpie. I could not be happier with how they turned out!!! Thanks my loves!!!!

Okay, so clearly I am not so good at this lovely task of blogging.....although I would like to be! I will do better, I promise!

Here are a few of our engagement pics. These were taken last month by our photographer, Hannah Elaine, and let me just say, SHE IS FABULOUS!!! She took so many great pictures and I cannot wait to see what she does with our wedding!!! :)

2 years!

Today is our 2 year anniversary! Crazy that 2 years ago today I was celebrating a new job with with all of my friends (including Trey)....never did I think that 2 years later I would be planning my wedding to him! I am a lucky lucky girl! Here's to 50 more! :)

Cold Weather

I'm over it. I am so ready for the spring and laying in the park! (yes, Trey and I are that cheezy! :)) Daylight savings is this weekend.....so that means longer days....that is definitely a plus! Trey and I both are having a bad case of Spring Fever, we are SO ready to be on a beach! June (Jon and Keisha's Wedding) can't come soon enough....a week in Hilton Head! In the meantime, I will daydream about being in this picture!

Trying it out.........

I am not really sure about this blogging stuff..........but in the midst of planning our wedding I have come across several blogs (i.e. photographers, planners, florists, etc.) and have entertained myself looking through them. I have also noticed some friends that have done them. I figured, what the hell?! It could be a good way for friends and family to know what is going on in our lives. As much as I try to stay in touch and keep up, it just doesn't happen. I'm sure the year planning our wedding and our first year of being newly weds should make for some interesting posts. I'm sure Trey will be very involved.



Any of you that know me or Trey know that last statement is completely false....I'm still trying to get him on facebook.
